  1. Dance Workshops: Weekly sessions covering various styles such as contemporary, hip-hop, and African dance. Participants have shown significant improvement in technique and confidence.

    • Tina Thompson-Pope is a highly accomplished figure in the dance world, producer of off broadway revue Josephine's Cotton, and ambassador in the world of fitness, known for her extensive training and diverse experience. Here are some key highlights of her background:

    • Education and Training

    • Full Scholarships: Tina received full scholarships to study at prestigious institutions such as the Martha Graham School, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, Dance Theatre of Harlem, and The Juilliard School.

    • Professional Training: Her training at these renowned schools provided her with a solid foundation in various dance styles, including contemporary, modern, flamenco and classical ballet.

    • Professional Experience

    • Performance Venues: Tina has performed at notable venues like City Center, the Metropolitan Opera House, and Alice Tully Hall.

    • Choreography and Production: As the Artistic Director and Founder of Skin Dance Company, she has choreographed numerous innovative pieces and produced various dance performances.

    • Awards and Recognition: Tina has received multiple arts council awards for her choreography and has been recognized with fellowships in dance.
